DSP24 MK II connector layout

This text describes the connectors of the DSP24 MK II PCI-card. The photo shows the PCI-card and its layout:

DSP24 MK II PCI-card

1 -   15pin D-SUB connector (connects to the included breakout cable that is described below)
2 -   H-BUS [1] digital I/O connector (44pin D-SUB) for external boxes (controlled by the External Links [2] software)
3 -   Jumper settings for 1/8"-output. If both jumpers are installed, the Internal and External Mixer signal will be mixed on the minijack output (default). If the jumpers are not installed, the 1/8" output just sends out the signal of channel 1/2, without the Internal Mixer [3] signal.
4 -   16 pin connector for optional audio + MIDI I/O extensions (for future expansion)
5 -   CD In - can be connected to the analog output from CD-ROM (routed to the Internal Mixer [3])
6 -   Aux - can be connected to the analog output from a TV-card or another analog source (routed to the Internal Mixer [3])
7 -   CD In - can be connected to the digital output from CD-ROM (disabled when the S/PDIF or AES/EBU input is active and vice-versa)
8 -   S/PDIF I/O - Connection to the XG DB I [4] daughtercard

Here is description of the connectors on the breakout cable that is included with the DSP24 MK II:

DSP24 MK II cable

1 / 3 -   balanced XLR line level outputs (channel 1,2)
2 / 4 -   balanced XLR line level inputs (channel 1,2)
5 -   unbalanced 1/8" minijack monitoring output for Internal Mixer [3] (mixed with External Mixer signal by default)
